Mad - Yes, they are like shawls that drap over the bulb. This way if the bulb should break or someone want to use a different colored bulb, all one needs to do is slip it off the one it's on and slip on a new one.

 

Judith - they take about a week.

 

I find it very relaxing while working on then. It is fun picking colors and putting this with that.

 

If someone ever wants a unique gift just let me know the color and I'll love to make one. As I get any finished I'll post pictures here.

the first looks Year of the Tiger, Chinese New Year colours too.

i can well imagine if you like doing this sort of thing how relaxing it is :omm:

The ornaments are to DIE for, and the shawl idea is a great one, too. What's so special is that each one of them has its own personality - Victorian, Native American, Roaring 20's :chacha:
