well done :p

:crit: Well, we need a :thermometer: to go with "well done".

:thonk: Stupid moi. The "well done" was the :t#^@k: as Perspectives WAS well done.

:hey: Instead of :t#^@k: can we have a :bordercollie: for :pervherding:?

Bess - I love the three photos together as a composition. The shapes and geometry and the colours are wonderful

Mars - I bet those seats are wonderfully toasty when the sun has been on them! I love the yectures and patterns in the third photo, but I can't keep my eyes off the thermometer thing - fantastic colours; like sweets...I want to lick the photo!!

Sunny - I love the photo of you the photographer; and the green shoots are such a good idea

Kexs - really beautiful; makes me want a big minimalist apartment to display them

Candy - who shrunk you???!!! I'll get them! Love the..well...perspective! (and that rich orange against the blue of the sky is sumptuous!

Goli - wow! Do you live in fairyland? They are so ethereal - and the bottom one makes me think of an Escher picture

Hobbie - I like the juxtaposition of the straight lines and the curves; they look great as a group.

Jana - all three are lovely; but it is the lantern that has me entranced

Oggi - I particularly love 'sunroof' - the small dark plane against the powerful enormity of the sky.

Mackie - I love, love, love these photos...they so made me grin like a mad thing!

Detailed comments :manic:

Bess, really love your floral composition. Looks beautiful and artsy!

Sunny, why oh why did I not have the idea with the camera :manic: Perfect for perspective.

Kexs, that's what I wanted to do, but never got around to it. Where is that petrol green shot taken? Roof? Floor?

Candy, I hope no big bully bug attacked you :roflmao: Wonderful idea :manic:

Goli, I am so :green: of your enchanted forest :sigh:

Hobbie, the rainy pic, is that a building or an umbrella? Either way, love it :manic:

Jana, I keep staring at the blurry pic - it's a building thru a rainy window, right? Fascinating.

Oggi, cute niece and nephew :heart:, the one in the front looks a bit startled by the camera? The sunroof pic is fabulous

Sue, the chimney pic is a gorgeous shot and the guitar looks a bit like a torture instrument from this perspective :manic:

Mackie - awesome idea  Kexs looks very young in the first pic, totally respectable in the second and quite at the end of his patience in the third

*sigh... all that pornography... :crit: mackie, when WILL you stop????

moi??? i didn't do a thing, honest. :manic:

HA! you can't lie to me. all those naked pictures that come up when one googles mackie in google's image search cannot be untrue. :hat:

mars, it's actually me looking through a bottle of mineral water.:lol: but yes, it was the watery, rainy effect i was looking for. unfortunately it was dry and hot during perspective month.

comments coming soon. must finish dinner first.

detailed comments ahoy! :p

bessie - the flower picture is entirely charming. i like 'perspective blue' too. it looks a bit like the wall of a maze.

mars, what a funky thermometer! that is what it is, isn't it? :crit: i love that picture. love the colours and the curves. very nice. also like the zig-zag one at the bottom.

sunny, NICE CAMERA! :manic: that first one is very cool. and very well focussed. i can never get the focus right when i'm pointing at the mirror, somehow.

kexie, you entirely brilliant creature you... :swoon: i have no words - they're just brilliant. i love how simple and clean the lines are. it's very zen. love them.

candy, you are also entirely brilliant and leave me with no words. the canary yellow against the blue is so stark! fabulous. my personal favourite though is the third one, with the trees in the background. beautiful.

goli, sunny's right: you do live in a wonderland. :swoon: love the bridge picture. it looks so warm!

hobbie, familiar pictures! i'm amazed by these pictures because two of them were taken when i was there and i know how hideously boring the structures were! you have such a fabulous eye for picking out oddities. i still like your geneva airport pic best.

oggi, 'sunroof' is a painting. luminous and light, i love it. it's the kind of picture i'd want to paint over the ceiling in a kid's room. bound to fill the child's mind with fabulous dreams and fantasies. it's one of those pictures that makes you travel into the perfect impossibilities.

sue, that guitar picture is awesome but i like 'bath' the best. what a beautiful set of buildings.

mackie, what an absolutely-delicious looking model! :p i love the wooden background behind the second one. and i love the fact that you used black and white.

thank you, everyone, for a wonderful lifeline. :flowers:

Jana, thanks. I have two words for you AUTO FOCUS. The camera has it, and I never turn it off. Well, one time it got turned off somehow, and i had to trash 200 pictures because they were all out of focus. For some reason, when I took that picture, I took off my glasses, so I couldn't have focused the camera if I wanted to.

no, no, you were right. it's not me in the picture. in the picture is my living room! i'm on the OTHER side of the picture. and there's a bottle of mineral water between us, not a rainy window.

sunny, i'm very scared of focus. blurs scare the pants off me. at the same time, i REALLY want to be able to do it on my own, without the machine deciding for me. basically, that is why i stick to my ickle camera.
