Cresspesssssssssssssssting - Moo's new project looks wonderful  :jump:

And perhaps it is actually better to work on projects for seasons other than the one one is actually IN at the time  :omm:

Less pressure.

That is SO true, Goli. Nothing worse than to knit like hell on a sweater and the last cool days are giving way to heat …

That's when you finish it at your leisure, hide it, and then take it out when its season returns.  Announcing casually that you just whipped it up on a whim :evildb:

wow, very tidy knitting, bess :wow: did you start that last one from the toes? :oh: and you're doing it on a round needle (? that's not the right word.) :oh: I have yet to try that.

I do them from the toe up with a long circular needle, can try on for length as I go

The extra cable of the needle hangs to either side of the knitting, have to adjust at each half-round. But is better than fighting with a set of sticks  :budo:

yes, I have done many socks with a set of five needles, but I find I haven't got the nerves for that anymore. They keep slipping, especially in the short rounds near the toes. :grumpy:

circular needle

I can manage with 5 bamboo needles...mostly...but even they will whiffle out of place to the floor.

:grumpy:  <----- perfect

I knew what you meant by round

I only have metal needles. And I guess I‘ll try the circular ones before buying bamboo. :p
