thanks for the suggestions, wasn't able to check in earlier, lost the 'net courtesy of Fay and just got it back this evening!

Jude, the #s 1-7 were the pictures and the others were the sizes of the beads in mm.

since I couldn't check in for your replies, mom decided on pic#6.

should mention that its 18inch/45cm in length total; 11in/28cm in the 15 groups of rings , then 7in/17mm on the 1 in 1 chain and clasp.

it can be worn as a choker, collar or hanging like in the picture.

Ah, Oriental Trading. We used to always pore over those catalogues at school when the annual bazaar was comming up, to order lots of little stuff for the kids games.

Those beads are darling. Little tiny "peeps"!

Nori, nice effect...and nice to know you're ok after Fay... :smooch:

Mackie, lampwork beads are called like that because they're made by putting rod of glass in front of a torch like explained here.... The technique is completely different from glass blowing, like they do in Venice...

and that's how my friends make their glass beads...

These remind me of those huge glass grape clusters that were so popular in the 60's. I have some in exactlly those greens that were my Mom's. Those are so icinic for me.

Hobbie, your friends are amazingly talented. Their work is so striking.
