Bess, thanks for good Samaritans!   As for mice, we have a plethora of the little bastards. And  spiders,  Love the rural life. We got a nice bunch of rain. It is alternating rain and fog.  The power went off today, twice . No idea why. :panic2::nuts::manic:

yes, mice and spiders are two constants in rural life, aren't they. And having a garden in the city, I actually get my share. As long as the mice are in the garden it's fine with me; in the house, not so much :crit: :mouse:

In the house, not at all.  Kristi thinks they are toys.  And chases them until she scares them to death.  And then lets out an ear splitting wail because they won't play any more.

The nerve, is right - especially since the toys can't even get IN the house unless Kristi has caught them in the garage and brought them in through the pet door.

All the more reason to expect them to keep playing. No manners, these pesky mice! :p

We used to have a tomcat who was a cruel player. The females not so much once they grew up, but the mama cats brought them in for the kittens to play with. Play murder with me ... :duck:

With the mama cats, i would guess it's instinct and a way of teaching the kittens to hunt (in case they ever have to).
